The District Energy Systems Division of SWEP International AB provides turnkey solutions for prefabricated substations in district heating and cooling markets, and has recently signed a major contract. We are a dynamic and dedicated team handling sales, marketing, product development and project management.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As product developer at SWEP you will work in an international team that develops prefabricated substations for district heating and cooling. You will work with the development of a product from concept to implementation & launch, which means that you will work both internationally and cross- functionally. The tasks include concept development, design, prototypes, testing and industrialization of complete systems, based on the customer’s specific demands and requirements. The work includes making design plans in CAD, perform calculations and to construct & test ideas in SWEP’s laboratory and workshop.
You will become part of a team with a good spirit and room for new ideas and creativity.

Your background and skills

• You have a bachelor degree, or higher, with specialization in mechanical engineering, design and product development, or the equivalent.
• It is an advantage if you have some experience from innovation and industrial design.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken (SWEP’s corporate language).
